Review of Prayers for Bobby (2009) by Federico B — 29 Aug 2015
I saw it, and I now I see the LGBT battle in a total different light. This empowering and masterfully acted movie brings bitterness in hearts and reflection in brains, awaking people on the atrocious consequences of a severe and heartless christian raise.
Ryan Kelley plays a perfect Bobby, while Sigourney Weaver gives a virtuous portrait of the homophobic and bigot Bobby's mother, Mary Griffith. It's a movie that I highly recommend, filled with touching, beautiful and breath-taking scenes.
A must-see.
