Review of Pray for Japan (2012) by Leah I — 17 Mar 2012
When I first saw the trailer for this documentary I was extremely excited to finally see something positive about the tragedy. It shows the hard work of residents and volunteers trying to rebuild their life and move on.
The movie is split into four parts, Family, School, Shelter and Volunteers. Every story was heart wrenching. But it helped everyone know how Japan has been doing (though it was filmed in 2011) since the disaster since it really isn't in the media anymore.
I recommend everyone to see this amazing documentary.
