Review of Power Rangers (2017) by Smqrskeet — 25 Mar 2017
Giving this movie a 10 to negate all the low scores and to make the critics look like Rita Repulsas eyebrows. This film was unexpectedly brilliant. A welcome new franchise of movies! At one stage during the movie I got very happy that movies like this are being made. The kids of the 90's have Hollywood by the testes satchel and we are getting what we want. The beginning of this movie was unreal and very intriguing. The main body deals with their relationships and has an almost breakfast clubby feel to it. It's like a lot of great origin movies and I hope that enough people go to see this so that they make sequels. I thought the story was excellent, there could have been a bit more fighting however as a beginning to hopefully a new series, it was brilliant. The characters were awesome, the black ranger in particular was my favourite.
I loved Power Rangers as a kid so hearing the song and seeing all these characters come back in a modern and entertaining way was great to see. I only say the trailer for this last month and was hyped af. It did not disappoint. Don't listen to reviewers who give films like 'Elle' A 10. Judge things for yourself.
