Review of Power Rangers (2017) by Flexedacorn — 28 Mar 2017
Cheesy and fun, this modern day revamp is no master piece but still a must see for fans of the original. The movie is a remake done right; it stays true to its source material while adding enough new content to breathe life back into the franchise.
Do not go into this expecting a fully serious toned movie. Though it does touch on some serious themes here and there, the film is ultimately still a power ranger’s movie. The director (Dean Israelite) does more right then wrong and has some good throw backs to the original series.
I recommend this only to fans of the franchise and or younger audiences.
