Review of Powder (2001) by Grant S — 02 Jun 2010
This film is stuck firmly between Edward Scissorhands and The Green Mile. Heck, I even expected Patrick Stewart to turn up in a wheelchair at one point and offer the guy a place in his institute for gifted youngsters.
Sadly, the aforementioned have done all this a lot better between them leaving Powder out in the cold with all it's cliches and bizarre plot problems - like how he can conduct electricity but water has no effect on him.
Likeable but nothing special.
