Review of Powder (1995) by Kiersten D — 09 Jun 2012
Saw it when it first came out, thought it was very moving, so I'm watching it on Bluray tonight.
Well it was lightly dated, but I can see why I liked this film so much. There's a message, plus one of the most moving scenes in a film IMHO.
If anybody knows the green Mile when the prisoner talks with the person in a coma. This film did it first and so so much better. Now I'm a big macho hunk, but it had me welling up, I'm glad I was watching it alone.
