Review of Poseidon (2006) by James R — 24 Apr 2013

Fairly implausible situation overcome by incredibly two dimensional characters; portrayed by mediocre actors. Not the best film I've ever watched, glad I didn't pay to see it. There are moments of good action and some epic disaster scenes, but you just don't care enough about the characters to really engage with it.

If when one of the principal characters dies, your response is 'meh' - you know the film has failed. Big Budget - Big SFX but it still sank into the depths of obscurity, rather like the Poseidon itself.
