Review of Portrait of Jennie (1948) by Justin E — 22 Jun 2007
Haunting and romantic in a simple kind of way that was beautiful and eerie at the same time. The romance was not simplistic, but the way the story was laid out lent a mystical or mysterious air to the film.
Great actors too. This is a movie that left me thinking "Wow, that was beautiful" in a way few movies have inspired me to say. Definitely one I would watch again.
