Review of Portrait of Jennie (1948) by Michael L — 27 Sep 2008
Joseph Cotten becomes a great painter and goes crazy at the same time; it's all because of love. Interesting "special effects." I really like the fact that some shot segments were projected onto a large canvas to make it look like a moving painting.
Some of the old ways of "special effects" are hold more relevance and creativity than the newer ways. Depressing ending that was pretty predictable, but oh, well.
