A love it or hate it experience that never fully explains itself, but doesn't really have to. Those who hate it will feel completely lost before the first twenty minutes are up, and perhaps endure the rest with a mix of blank looks and giggles.
Those who get it however, will find much to enjoy. The first two acts are sharp, suspenseful and genuinely frightening. It unfortunately teeters dangerously close to numerous cliches in its final act and runs about twenty minutes too long.
Still, those with an appetite for the quirky and strange will have a great time. Skin-flick hunters need not apply.
