Review of Porkchop (2010) by Gaspar O — 10 Jan 2013
This is bad. This is really, really bad. It's often filmed with two completely different cameras which, when you switch angles back and forth, have completely different sound levels, light and video quality.
I'm not sure it wasn't filmed entirely with a VHS camcorder and a phone. The editing is bad. The acting is bad. Was that even considered acting? The script is bad, except maybe for some of what the Brit said, he was pretty funny, especially when he was roping a growler in the fireplace.
Why, then, am I giving this three stars? Well, it's NOT a three star film when compared to real movies, but within its own genre, it had some appeal. The pig dude was funny, the gore and "special effects" were delightfully terrible and the robot made from a bucket and some flexible dryer vent was hilarious, especially when he was banging that ho like a cheap gong.
Watch this only with the knowledge that it's going to be very bad and you might enjoy it.
