Review of Pontypool (2009) by Erik A — 01 Nov 2009
Well this was certainly different. Although clearly inspired by the "War of the Worlds" radio play, this a one-set zombie film (although wether or not they are zombies is debatable, the movie seems to hint toward a psychological problem rather than an actual virus) where everything that happens is heard thrugh fragmented phone calls to a radio station and the only true chracters are the three people inside the station plus a doctor who shows up later.
Also, the movie is essentially all dialouge, but that doesn't weigh the movie down. In fact, a major plot point of the movie is language.
