Review of Pontypool (2009) by Dave A — 17 Mar 2010
A fantastic idea poorly executed. The fault lies with the willfully muddy story-telling and unappealing characterization in a script that ultimately collapses under weight of its own pretension. Itâ??s a pity because it really is a cracking low budget concept (would make a great Doctor Who episode) and despite its shortcomings the film may yet appeal to anyone who is either very high or an English student (or both) and is undoubtedly worth a look for genre fans.
