Review of Pontypool (2009) by Scott C — 28 Apr 2012
The idea is not new to literature but it is to the screen and makes for an impressive zombieesque thriller. McHattie delivers an amazing performance where his voice and look deliver most of the chills for an enthralled audience.
The minimalist film-making shows off huge style as it executes effective scares through tension building and intelligent use of a radio station as the backdrop for an outbreak thriller. Probably the best and most intelligent horror movie of 2008.
