Review of Pontypool (2009) by Filmgrinder S — 15 Dec 2011

I was expecting another low-budget splatter fest with laughable effects. There IS a little of that in this movie, but overall it's actually way better than I expected. It's not your typical blood and guts approach to zombie movies, which is refreshing.

While it is true that the entire thing takes place inside a radio station and there's not a whole lot of action, the whole thing is quite tense and definitely kept me interested. I was pleasantly surprised.
