Absolutely spectacular. Victiore Thivisol delivers an astounding performance as Ponette in one of cinema's greatest films. This is one of those rare films that tells a child's story and depicts a child's world with frankness, honesty and sincerity, rather than contrived dialog and gimmicky acting.
