Laughably entertaining with absolutely no regard for volcanology whatsoever. It made sense to watch this on the plane since it had everything going for it as mindless entertainment - Kit Harrington's blank stares and solid abs, appalling dialogue, Kiefer Sutherland's cringeworthy British accent.
Plot? What plot? Let's just call it an excuse to show a town getting decimated by a volcano and a tsunami. Wait what? A tsunami??? Turn that brain off, sit back and relax.
