Review of Pompeii (2014) by S B — 25 Jun 2014

I had low expectations after "The three muskeeters" disaster of Anderson, but this movie was very good. Better than I expected. Well acted for all of the main actors, a decent plot, a great production and the finale was surprisingly emotional to me. Maybe one of the most romantic endings I have seen since Titanic.

I would have liked a "at present time" introduction, with the actual ruins and a couple of two archeologists trying to assemble the story of the people they find in the ruins, with flashbacks of the story. It would have added a lot of perspective to this incredible tragedy.
