Review of Poltergeist (2015) by Alex W — 26 Jun 2015
Surprisingly different from the original. Much more modern, but perhaps not as memorable. One thing I have to commend this film for is the fact that stuff actually happens, and your ghosts are very aggressive and let everyone know they exist.
I like that. In most modern horror movies, only the child can see the ghost and no one believes them for the whole movie until the last five minutes. This wasn't like that. It wasn't great, it wasn't very scary, but It really wasn't bad.
Kind of a pointless remake, but well done at least.
