Oh Sam, how did they convince you to do this movie. Far below your talents. Lots of stereotypical B cast. Packed with cheesy, Friday the 13th 3D style desperate jump scares and "look, I'm a 3D movie!" scenes.
Just cringe worthy at times. If it wasn't for Sam and Rosemarie I'd be insulted for the loss of the time wasted on it, they did their best. Prime example of tainting a classic movie for the sake of a buck.
Maybe it would be ok if you had never seen the original, but the sad 3D tactics just destroyed any credibility in my opinion. It's not the 80s, 3D isn't new anymore, it should be complimentary to the film rather than a focal point.
I honestly tried to enjoy it, but it's not even worthy as a guilty pleasure. It amazes me that people would rate is higher than a 5, oh how the bar continues to plummet.
