Review of Poltergeist (2015) by Abby D — 19 Nov 2015

I am surprised that I kind of liked this. There are some scares that worked for me. The clown scene was good, the tree scene was good, the TV scene was good and I loved it when they went to the other world to find the girl.

I loved the Parents (come on it's Sam Rockwell!). The kids however were not good, it was riddled with horror cliches with the little girl talking to scary creature (because it looks friendly) and the people walking towards the weird noise or stick their hand somewhere when we know they are going to get grabbed.

That stuff is dumb, maybe it's just my bad opinion but I didn't mind it!
