I didn't mind it. The plot moved pretty quickly and the special effects were solid. Movie was predictable but decent. My main issue was the fact that the family's reaction and actions seemed like a big disconnect to what was happening.
They also didn't seemed bothered or surprised when things attack them and such. Pulled me out of the movie.
