While not as horrible and blasphemous as expected, it still pales in comparison to the source material. Plus, why are today's filmmakers so afraid of using practical effects? The CG corpses at the end were absolutely horrendous looking (not in a good way) and just made me shake my head and exclaim to myself the tired cliche, "they just don't make em like they used!".
