Review of Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989) by I Don't Know W — 27 Jun 2011
This is a laugh free zone from beginning to end. The last to feature a full contingent of the original cast, with Fackler returning one last time even though he's been absent from the previous two films and he seems to be solely here to fill out the numbers and add some awkward comic relief, in fact he's largely absent from the films conclusion.
Everyone else is poorly served by the script and character traits that were funny once upon a time have been run into the ground by this point. McCoy is also most poorly served as he's still being given warmed up leftover's of Guttenberg's old gags.
From here Smith (Hightower), Ramsey (Hooks), McCoy (Nick Lassard), Mahler (Fackler), Robertson (Hurst) and Kinsey (Proctor) all had the good sense to avoid the next installment and you should take a leaf out of their book and avoid this one to.
