Review of Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019) by Donserrot — 10 May 2019

You could tell that the people working on this movie were fans of the source material. They put their hearts into this and it really showed. The characters looked great. The story was fun. They included the right references to excite long time fans without being things that would lose people not intimately familiar with the series.

There are two instances of light swearing that I think the movie could have done without for younger kids, but overall I was really happy with everything else.
