As a guy who only knew the first generation pokemon I think it was a pretty good movie with nice effects.But I also think that they shouldve kept the story more light hearted it had too many serious moments and some pretty predictable twists.
I was also expecting more comedy since I mean come on ITS DETECTIVE PIKACHU FFS.
