Review of Point Break (2015) by Ian R — 10 Apr 2010
Proof that Bigelow was a good director before The Hurt Locker. This movie just plain reeks of the 80s (despite being released in 1991), but while normally I would say that as a bad thing, it seems to work here.
Reeves and Swayze are both near their best here, and the bank heist sequences are lots of fun to watch. Nothing extraordinary, but certainly an action movie worth seeing.
