It was just stupid and lame. Absolutely no meaning or plot behind it at all. It just incoherent. No reason for this film to be one of the 1001 movies you need to see before you die. Marvin isn't up to his usual par in this one and just isn't particularly amazing.
Neither is the suppporting cast.
