Review of Point Blank (1967) by Adam B — 14 Sep 2007
Supreme experimental thriller with Marvin as the man looking for the money owed to him by the mob. Elipitical editing and inventive sound design place the audience in Marvin's confused state of mind as he discovers finding his money is a never ending quest.
Seen from the notion that Walker imagines his own revenge whilst dying in a jail cell, the film rifts on ideas of identity and impotence.
