Review of Point Blank (1967) by Rod A — 10 May 2009
Walker wants his money back. He was betrayed by someone he trusted, shot by a partner. At first it seems like he's exacting revenge, but because reality is so illusive in this film, his punishment of the bad guys might just be his wishes before dying.
Lee Marvin, as Walker, delivers a brutal performance of a man determined to punish. This film has a bit more going on than straight up revenge, however.
