Review of Point Blank (1967) by Eugene M — 30 Sep 2011
One of the most incoherent, herky jerky flicks I've ever seen. Excuse, me, but film noir is by definition black and white; French art influence has to have some theme somewhere. The only redeeming feature is that Lee Marvin smiles; Yes! he does.
Only for a fleeting moment. Otherwise, it's like watching the late late movies back in the fifty's, when they mixed up the reels between and amongst the movies.
