Review of Point Blank (1967) by Matt C — 07 Jan 2013
Lee Marvin has never been better than here as the stone-cold man on a revenge mission. He doesn't say much but dominates the film as a brooding killer. Some of the direction by Boorman is fantastic and pretty arthouse for such a mainstream film.
We constantly have flashbacks as Walker slowly pieces together who has his money. The ending is unfortunately a little flat, but it's small criticism of a really great film, if you haven't watched this yet then you've got a treat in store.
