Review of Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World (1998) by Thomas W — 22 May 2014

If you liked the first one, dont watch this movie. the first is excellent, one of the best soundtracks of the Disney movies and a rather engaging plot. This sequal had none of the emotional attachment to the characters or anything close to a real plot.

It stumples from scene to scene with on a very story. The songs lack any real creativity and are essentially just words that rhyme (very disappointing :( ). Its also like it's an alternate reality to how the first movie ended, with key evil characters reestablishing high power roles when they were clearly defeated in the first movie and on thin ice with their superiors before even leaving england the first time This movie doesn't do any justice to the true masterpiece of the first.
