One of the best Disney movies ever created. Beautifuly animated, with the best soundtrack I've ever heard and some of the most iconic characters created by Disney. A female hero that saves the day for on of the first times ever in a Disney film, anti-war, ecologist, anti-racist and anti-colonialism messages that are all what our generation needs.
A modern fairytale in the shape of a realistic fantasy based on real history and people, but with a necessary twist of hope and understanding. The bittersweet ending makes it the most risky movie of the Rennaissance era and also the most adult and mature.
The extended edition including a deleted song is much recommended as it gives great depth and delightful emotion to the main characters's relationship and makes the ending even more dramatic.
