Dreamlike, moody meditation on relationships taking place over the course of a few hours in a Bangkok hotel room. The arrival of an 18 yr old waif is the catalyst for some soul searching for a couple whose 7 year marriage is under strain.
.. contrasted with an illicit affair between the barman and the maid. Won't be to all tastes, but Pen-Ek Ratanaruang adds another quality film to his CV.
