Review of Pleasantville (1998) by Andrew L — 21 Feb 2011

I had a pleasant time watching "Pleasantville". It's story is filled social/political satire are something I always love to see in movies. It even throws in some sci-fi/fantasy elements which i'm a huge fan of the genre(s).

I absolutely loved the characters and the actors that portrayed them worked perfectly. The visuals were an absolute treat. The contrast from black and white to slowly introducing color look brilliant.

I would easily recommend this film to anyone, it's a surprisingly fun and deep film.
