Review of Play It Again, Sam (1972) by Sean C — 09 Jul 2010
What made this early Woody Allen film so fun was that he did not direct it, so a lot of visuals and editing were quite different. Now, I love Woody Allen as a director, but he can get stale. I find his best work is not in the realm of pure comedy, so now I wish he had let others direct his early films.
Loved the Bogart scenes. It makes me want to rewatch Casablanca and see if I missed something.
