Review of Play It Again, Sam (1972) by Jay K — 08 Oct 2011
Definitely takes 20 minutes or so to get going but Woody Allen's physical comedy in full swing is an absolute delight to watch in a series of uncomfortable dates, and his self-deprecating observational quips are great as always.
Somehow though it's just not as interesting as Annie Hall, Manhattan; the best of his work in the 1970s. It's still an above-average comedy and a must for Allen fans.
