Review of Platoon (1986) by Ryan E — 07 Aug 2010
Platoon is brutal, some scenes are hard to watch particuarly the scenes involving the civilians of Vietnam. Despite its brutality it is full of action, directed to perfection squeezing the very best performances from all actors involved.
It gives what seems like an authentic representation of war making unlike so many war films these days.
