Review of Platoon (1986) by Alex A — 29 Sep 2010
First of all, Willem Dafoe was spectacular.
Director Oliver Stone delivered a fast-paced, gripping, heartbreaking war thriller that I recall as my favorite film of all time. Tom Berenger played the perfect bad guy: irredeemable, cold-hearted, numb at every point in his body to the world around him.
