Review of Platoon (1986) by John O — 04 Jul 2012
Not quite as good as all the other Vietnam war movies i've seen but it's still great. Smart film though, showing that the Americans weren't entirely the good guys and it shows the dehumanizing effects of war.
Great performance from Charlie Sheen, not seen a serious movie that he's been in yet and this was brilliant. Willem Dafoe is also great in this and all of the supporting cast.
