A gritty and dynamic flick from director Oliver Stone to bring to life the horrors of the physical and emotional battles the American soldiers played over there in Vietnam. Coming from Stone's own personal experience as a 'grunt' in Southeast Asia, all of the hardcore action and devastating side affects of combat are enlisted and brought into the open.
