An epic war movie. Oliver stone's best film, Brilliantly directed as he was a former soldier in the vietnam it was intresting to see his point of view and show us the coping soldiers had to take, plus the greed and self made moral choices within soldiers and people around.
A great insight of the american soldiers and how they lived and breathed their Vietnam memories. Unique cast and great acting by all. Also my favourite fictional war characters in the moviie (Barnes played by Tom Berenger) the most intresting character in it.
One of the very best of the 1980's. Top 10 favourite movies.
