Review of Platoon (1986) by J.b. R — 15 May 2011
The is something so perfect about Max Fischer's Platoon-esqe play in Rushmore because the film Platoon feels very much like a play about the Vietnam War. An excellent production with fine photography and an amazing cast of young actors, Platoon still packs a serious punch due largely to the on-location shooting and the intensity of the action.
The voice-over is the only bad point here.
