Review of Platoon (1986) by Zack M — 30 Jun 2011
If there were ever a war film that exposed war for what it really is this would be that movie. It's a chillingly honest look at the Vietnam war that incorporates a mixture of feelings in every scene.
Every character has depth in their personality which helps you to connect to each individually. There is no good or bad guy in this film. There are only people and the sad truth of how far a human can be pushed.
