An important look at the processing of the horrors of war through the eyes of a young enlisted man (Charlie Sheen). The characters are genuine, some likable, many not. A who's who of A-list stars (Berenger, Depp, Sheen, Whitaker, Dafoe) this movie continues to be an important look at a difficult and brutal war.
