A powerful and gripping film about a platoon's journey through the Vietnam War where they face hardships and trials of war that is fought against the enemy and within their own squadron. The narrative is told with a chillingly perceptive feel and a story that may have an unnerving effect on some people, but there is no doubt that Platoon is an incredible depiction of how tragic the Vietnam War really was.
