Review of Platoon (1986) by Roy O — 31 May 2014
Finally got around to seeing it. During the movie, I was wanting to go to the other room to get a cup of coffee, so I decided to wait for the right time to do so. That right time was at the end of the movie, because I could not be tempted to hit pause. It was amazing, filled with great performances, but the real star is Stone's direction.
It's tagline, "The first casuality of war is innocence" is one of the best taglines for any movie I have ever seen.
