Written and directed by someone who've experienced the jungle of the Vietnam War, Oliver Stone presented another masterpiece that was pre-"Saving Private Ryan" with the fine effects and power in cinematography and outstanding performances by Charlie Sheen, Willem Dafoe and few other very well-known actors in the platoon. (B+).
