General Opinion:

A fantastically shot film that deserves much more praise than it received. Only someone like Rodriguez could pull off a film that provides as much in quality as it does in blood. This is definitely one of my all-time favorite films.

Acting:

There are many main characters in this film, so I won't go into specifics on how each actor did. Instead, I will just say that they all did fantastic jobs and that I cannot honestly think of any better people for the job at hand. After watching, I viewed Rodriguez's commentaries on the film and learned that he starred his doctor, his realtor, his nieces, and even his son. Yet, those people all did amazing jobs, seeming as if they were experienced actors themselves. Anyway, I'm rambling. The acting was great, case closed.

8/10.

Entertainment:

This is the best part of the movie. It's hilarious, disgusting, and jaw-dropping. The entire way through you're cringing, cracking up, or staring at the screen intently waiting to see what happens next. It's an unbelievably entertaining film.

10/10.

Plot:

Just when you thought directors had used every story imaginable, here comes Rodriguez with this incredibly unique plot to throw the audience completely off. Part of the reason the movie is so amazing is because of the random plot holes and nonsensical moments that are implemented just for that very reason.

10/10.

Replay Value:

I have seen this movie many times already and could definitely get some more of it in my system. If you love it as much as I do, you'll find yourself watching this too many times to count. The feeling of senselessness present makes it easy to watch over and over.

9/10.

Conclusion:

Planet Terror is an amazing movie in every sense. It has elements of horror, comedy, action, and drama and succeeds with flying colors. It truly is astonishing how well-made and entertaining this film was after being made on such a low budget. HUGE props to Rodriguez on this one.
